The Opportunity

Fencing Solutions & Construction, LLC. is looking for a dependable and hardworking Entry-Level Fence Installer to join our field team in Byhalia, Mississippi. Previous fencing experience is not required. We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, isn't afraid of physical work, and wants to learn a skilled construction trade from an experienced crew. You'll receive hands-on training while helping install chain link, ornamental, wood, vinyl, and gate systems across residential, commercial, industrial, government, and federal projects.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Fence Installation & Construction
• Assist experienced installers with the installation of chain link, ornamental, wood, vinyl, and gate systems
• Learn proper fence layout, measurement, post placement, and installation techniques
• Assist with digging post holes, setting posts, and mixing and pouring concrete
• Help install fence panels, rails, gates, hardware, and related components
• Learn to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for fence installation
• Follow measurements, layouts, and instructions provided by the Foreman
• Inspect completed work alongside experienced crew members to learn company quality standards
• Jobsite & Crew Support
• Work closely with the Foreman and experienced installers to complete daily assignments
• Load and unload fencing materials, tools, and equipment
• Move and stage materials throughout active jobsites
• Maintain accountability for assigned tools, equipment, and materials
• Keep work vehicles and jobsites clean, organized, and professional
• Help prepare jobsites before installation and complete cleanup at the end of each workday
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively with other members of the field crew
• Safety & Professionalism
• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements
• Properly use company-provided PPE and safety equipment
• Learn safe operating procedures for tools and equipment
• Arrive on time and prepared to work each scheduled day
• Maintain a professional attitude when working with crew members, customers, and other trades
• Take responsibility for learning new skills and improving installation abilities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• No previous fencing experience required
• Willingness to learn fence installation and construction techniques
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work throughout the workday
• Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable attendance and ability to consistently arrive to work on time
• Strong work ethic and willingness to follow direction
• Ability to work effectively as part of an active construction crew
• Comfortable using smartphone-based applications for timekeeping, logging, and basic work-related tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

The following are helpful but not required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous construction, landscaping, fencing, concrete, carpentry, general labor, warehouse, or other hands-on work experience
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Class A CDL
