Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Weekend Block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV/Surgical NICU environment
Manage patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
Support pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
Participate in holiday coverage as required during the contract period

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
Experience in a Level IV or Surgical NICU setting
Must pass a drug screen and nicotine test — this is a nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
Flu vaccine is required — no exceptions will be made

Preferred Experience / Skills

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
Experience managing complex neonatal surgical diagnoses and post-operative care
Comfort and flexibility with floating to additional units within the facility
